Temporal and Spatial Variation Characteristics of Geological Disasters and Its Relationship with Precipitation in Nujiang Prefecture of Yunnan
Based on the geological disaster and precipitation data from 2008 to 2022,the temporal and spatial distribution character-istics of geological disasters in Nujiang Prefecture of Yunnan are explored, and the relationship between geological disasters and precipita-tion are revealed. The results show that the geological disasters were of obviously the temporal and spatial variation characteristics. From the perspective of time change, the number of geological disasters was the largest in 2010,followed by 2016.The geological disasters mainly occurred in spring and summer, and the peak period appeared in April and July. The spatial distribution characteristics of geologic-al disasters in Nujiang Prefecture were obviously more in the north and less in the south. The main geological disasters in Nujiang Prefec-ture were the debris flow, landslide and collapse, and the debris flow was the most, and there were large spatial and temporal differences in the distribution of different geological disasters. The temporal and spatial distribution of geological disasters coincided with those of pre-cipitation.During the occurrence of geological disasters, the rainfall levels were mainly light rain, heavy rain and torrential rain, which in-dicated that precipitation was the main meteorological factor causing geological disasters.
