Exploration on Integrated Design and Construction Issues under EPC General Contracting Mode
Research and exploration on the EPC construction mode have shown that,based on the principles of complementary advantages,strong alliances,and unity and cooperation,the core competitiveness of the consor-tium can be enhanced,thereby achieving the goal of win-win for all parties in the consortium,which is the main mode of EPC construction.This article discusses several issues related to the integration of design and con-struction in general contracting projects.At the same time,combined with the organizational mode of the third Bid of the Tingzikou Irrigation Area Phase I Project,the management process and key points of EPC project that is led by the engineering part are proposed,which will help the high-quality development of the general contracting mode,improve the cost control management level of the general contracting mode,and provide ref-erence for owners and general contractors.
