Study on the Characteristics of Gait Symmetry in the Elderly
Gait symmetry is one of the important symbols reflecting people's ability of walking control.Understanding the characteristics and influencing factors of gait symmetry of the elderly is of great significance to reduce sports injury,improve health and improve quality of life.It mainly adopts the methods of literature and logical analysis to collect and analyze the literature.Results:there are many methods to calculate gait symmetry,and most studies evaluate it through limited gait features.The gait asymmetry of healthy and elderly people is not a pathological gait,but the difference of limb control over movement.There are many factors that affect the gait symmetry of the elderly,but it is not determined that a certain factor is dominant.After that,it can be deeply studied and discussed,which will contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the causes and mechanisms of gait asymmetry.
