Study on the Development of Break Dancing in Paris Olympic Games from the Perspective of SWOT Model
The inclusion of break dance in the Paris Olympic Games ushered in anopportunity for the new development of break dance.This paper studies the furtherdevelopment of break dancing after it was selected in Paris Olympic Games by meansof literature and SWOT model.Found:the advantages,breakdance is a strongappreciation,high artistry,has a unique charm,cultural diversity,popular amongyoung people,In terms of disadvantages,the competition rules and standards are notuniform,the competition is not fair enough,the credibility is not enough,and thetheoretical foundation needs to be consolidated;In terms of opportunities,theOlympic Games and other large-scale events provide opportunities for its promotionand the relevant education,industry and other environmental promotion and relevantpolicy support lead the development of break dancing;In terms of threats,there aregreat competition in Olympic events,limited popular groups of breakdancing,andlack of development system mechanism,Based on the analysis matrix of SOWT andthe direction of sustainable development,some suggestions are provided for thedevelopment of break dance:Based on the original,it is necessary to emphasizepublicity,strengthen construction and show characteristics;Absorb outside,to makeup for weaknesses,standards,strong competition;Facing the future,we shouldexpand the industry,expand the impact,and be sustainable.
