Research on the Development of ice Climbing in China
With the success of the Beijing Winter Olympics and the realisation of the overall goal of"300 million people participating in ice and snow sports",ice and snow sports have entered a period of high-quality development.Ice and snow sports have entered a period of high-quality development,while ice climbing,as a part of ice and snow programmes,has always lacked internal and external driving force.On the basis of clarifying the concept of ice climbing,its origin,development stage,and the current status of research at home and abroad.Through the development status and development path of ice climbing sport to put forward the corresponding countermeasures.The study found that ice climbing is an ice and snow fitness programme with high risk and high consumption capacity.Its development is slow due to the lagging behind in the cultural construction of the project;the lack of professional technical and skillful talents;the incomplete event system;and the limitation of the uneven distribution of resources in time and space,unsound venue facilities,and expensive equipments.Therefore,through vigorously promoting and popularising the culture of ice-climbing,improving the management system and competition system of ice-climbing,broadening the innovative development path of ice-climbing,establishing and improving the vocational appraisal of ice-climbing and the training system of ice-climbing talents,and leveraging on scientific and technological strengths and other measures to promote ice-climbing to a high-quality,high-level,green and sustainable direction.
