Big Translation and Cultural Memory:Integration and Enlightenment
Big Translation,proposed by Chinese scholars,is a translation theory with local characteristics.This paper clarifies the definition and function of Big Translation,makes an in-depth discussion of the two issues of why we need Big Translation and why Big Translation should be combined with cultural memory,points out that the nature of the two theories is compatible and complementary interdisciplinarity,as well as the enlightenment and significance that the integration of the two bring to the Chinese culture transmission.
