A Critique of Electronic Information and Reconstruction of Ethics for Love:On the Digital Humanism in Margaret Atwood's"Post-narrative"
Margaret Atwood has always been known as a postmodern Canadian writer, but after 2010,her style has undergone a certain change, that is,from the general postmodern narrative to transcendental postmodern narrative. This is reflected in her dystopian novel The Heart Goes Last, which is a criticism of electronic information technology and a reconstruction of the value of social ethics. The former exposes the potential risks of totalitarianism, classification and institutionalization hidden behind the model of electronic information society, while the latter presents the salvation of lust and forgiveness to the increasingly flat people in the digital age.Investigating the dystopian relationship between electronic information engineering and human morality and ethics in the novel is not only an important link to reveal the writer's"post narrative"characteristics and digital humanism, but also a humanistic enlightenment to avoid future risks and disasters in modern science and technology fields such as electronic information.
