International Organization and International Communication:Taking UNESCO as an Example
International organizations have been profoundly influencing the construction of the discourse system of international communication as a crucial communication actor.Unlike other traditional communication actors,international organizations assemble and present various power contradictions and struggles in international communication discourse due to their unique characteristics of pluralism and incomplete subjectivity.Taking the UNESCO as an example,this article explores the development and evolution of international organizations and their operating theory from a perspective of international communication practice,analyzes the complicated discourse practice of international organizations as the crucial communication actor,and clarifies the path and logic of construction of international communication discourse with international organizations as the main actor.
