The Evolution,Core Experiences and Development Path of Social Assistance in China
Social assistance for disadvantaged groups is an innovative,bottom-up strategic plan of the Communist Party of China to safeguard social justice and promote the common prosperity of all people.Since the founding of New China,China's social assistance for disadvantaged groups has gone through a gradual development process of initial conception,formal construction,comprehensive ad-vancement,upgrading and improvement,and co-ordination,and has followed the advanced experi-ence of party building,firm positioning,multi-dimensional co-management,prioritising needs,and gradual reforms,to achieve a healthy,benign,and sustainable development of the social assis-tance system for disadvantaged groups,and to make the disadvantaged groups'sense of gain,happi-ness,and security more fulfilling and more secure.On the way to the common prosperity of all peo-ple including the disadvantaged groups,the future social assistance work for the disadvantaged groups should be centred on empowerment and responsibility,systematic classification,clear expansion,u-nification of specialties,organic coordination and other aspects to help China's social assistance for disadvantaged groups to move towards a new stage of maturity,regularity and efficiency.
