Objective To investigate the relationship between serum HOX transcribed antisense RNA(HOTAIR)and miR-331-3p levels and postoperative recurrence in patients with breast cancer, and to establish a risk model. Methods 108 pa-tients who underwent breast cancer surgery in our hospital from June 2019 to June 2021 were selected as study group, and 45 healthy patients during the same period were selected as control group.Serum HOTAIR and miR-331-3p were compared, and the recurrence of breast cancer patients 2 years after surgery was statistically analyzed.Cox regression was used to analyze the influen-cing factors of postoperative recurrence of breast cancer patients, and a nomogram prediction model was established and verified. Results Serum HOTAIR and miR-331-3p in study group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).Cox regression model analysis showed that clinical stage Ⅲ,positive human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2),high expression of serum HOTAIR and miR-331-3p were independent risk factors for postoperative recurrence of breast cancer patients.Positive expression of estrogen receptor(ER),progesterone receptor(PR),postoperative chemotherapy and postoperative endocrine therapy were pro-tective factors(P<0.05).The accuracy and effectiveness of the nomogram model were good. Conclusion Clinical stage Ⅲ,HER2 positivity, and high expression of serum HOTAIR and miR-331-3p were all independent risk factors for postoperative recur-rence in breast cancer patients, and ER positivity,PR positivity, postoperative chemotherapy, and postoperative endocrine therapy were protective factors, and the columnar graphical model based on this was of high predictive value.
