Meta-Analysis of Laser-Assisted Dacryocystorhinostomy Combined with Lacrimal Duct Catherization in the Treat-ment of Primary Acquired Nasolacrimal Duct Obstruction
Objective To investigate the effect of laser assisted dacryocystoplasty(laser assisted DCR)combined with lacrimal duct catheterization in the treatment of primary acquired nasolacrimal duct obstruction(PANDO).Methods Retrieve da-tabases such as China Journal Full text Database,VIP Chinese Science and Technology Journal Full text Database,Wanfang Data-base,China Biomedical Literature Database,PubMed,The Cochrane Library,Embase, etc. The retrieval time limit is from the estab-lishment of the database to October 13,2022.Establish inclusion and exclusion criteria, and include relevant studies that meet the criteria.Extract data and use State 15.0 software to analyze the cure rate of surgery(effective or effective+cure). Results 22 ar-ticles were included, involving 1299 patients with nasolacrimal duct obstruction.Meta-analysis results showed that the effective rate of laser assisted DCR combined with lacrimal duct catherization in treating PANDO was 93%(ES=0.93,95%CI 0.88~0.96),indicating that laser assisted DCR combined with lacrimal duct catherization was an effective surgical method for treating PANDO.Conclusion Laser assisted DCR combined with lacrimal duct catherization treatment could significantly improve the clinical symptoms of PANDO and is an effective treatment method.
