The Application Effect of Swelling Nursing Intervention on Postoperative Limb Swelling in Patients with Upper Limb Fractures
Objective:To evaluate the application effect of swelling nursing intervention on postoperative limb swelling in patients with upper limb fractures.Methods:72 patients with postoperative limb swelling after upper limb fractures treated in our hospital from July 2019 to July 2020 were randomly selected as the study objects and were divided into an observation group and a control group, with 36 cases in each group. The control group received basic nursing, while the observation group received swelling nursing intervention in addition to the basic nursing. The swelling score, pain score, total muscle power and torque of the elbow joint, activities of daily living score, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:After nursing, the swelling score of the observation group was(1.03±0.35)points,which was better than(1.75±0.62)points of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The pain score of the observation group was(2.36±0.66)points,which was better than(4.14±0.89)points of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total flexor and extensor work indexes, flexor peak moment and extensor peak moment after nursing in the observation group were higher than those in control group, the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of post-nursing living ability in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 94.44%,which was higher than 77.78%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Swelling nursing intervention can alleviate postoperative limb swelling and pain, improve limb function, and increase patient satisfaction, and it is worth promoting and applying.
