Effect Analysis of External Fixation with Brace Fixation on Patients with Limb Fracture in Pre-Hospital Emergency Treatment
Objective:To explore the effect of external fixation brace in pre-hospital emergency treatment of limb fracture.Methods:70 patients with pre-hospital emergency treatment for limb fracture admitted to our hospital from December 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into an observation group and a control group according to the random blind method of patient visit number, with 35 cases in each group. The control group was fixed with splint, and the observation group was fixed with external fixation brace. The comfort level, healing time, hospital stay, treatment satisfaction, complications, limb function and pain were compared between the two groups. Results:The comfort score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the healing time and hospitalization time were shorter than that of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The satisfaction of treatment in the observation group was 97.14%,which was higher than 74.28%in the control group, and the complication rate was 2.85%,which was lower than 22.85%in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Before intervention, there were no significant differences in limb function and pain perception between the two groups(P>0.05);after intervention, the limb function score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the Visual Analogue Score of pain was lower than that of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:For patients with limb fracture in pre-hospital emergency treatment, the external fixation support fixation intervention mode is more effective, with clinical advantages such as fixed comfort and fixed parts are not easy to slip, which effectively reduces the fracture pain of patients, promotes rapid healing of the fracture site, shorters the time of hospitalization and improves patient satisfaction.
