Diagnostic Value of MRI in Avascular Necrosis of the Femoral Head and Evalution of Effect after Interventional Therapy
Objective:To investigate the value of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)in the diagnosis of avascular necrosis of the femoral head(ANFH)and the evaluation of therapeutic effect after interventional therapy.Methods:78 patients with ANFH who were hospitalized and treated in the 970th Hospital of PLA from August 2017 to September 2022 were selected as the research objects. All patients were treated with interventional therapy, and the prognosis and efficacy were determined. All patients underwent magnetic resonance imaging examination before and after treatment. The signs were recorded and the correlation analysis were performed. Results:After treatment, the efficacy of 78 patients was judged as excellent in 50 cases, good in 20 cases, and poor in 8 cases, with an excellent and good rate of 89.74%,including 70 cases in the excellent group and 8 cases in the non-excellent group. There were no significant differences in the etiology, body mass index, location of disease, clinical stage, course of disease, gender and age between the excellent and excellent group(P>0.05).The conventional MRI signs such as bone marrow edema, joint cavity effusion, line sign, and patchy sign in the non-excellent group were 100.00%,87.50%,100.00%,and 75.00%,which were higher than 31.43%,30.00%,25.71%,and 21.43%in the excellent group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The ischiofemoral gap of the non-excellent group was higher than that of the excellent group, and the quadratus femoris gap was lower than that of the excellent group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).In 78 patients,Spearman analysis showed that the excellent and good efficacy rate was correlated with bone marrow edema, joint cavity effusion, linear sign, patchy sign, ischiofemoral space, and quadratus femoris space(P<0.05).Conclusion:Patients with ANFH are often accompanied by a variety of abnormal signs on MRI,and the prognosis of interventional treatment is relatively good.Mri has a good value in the diagnosis of avascular necrosis of the femoral head and the evaluation of the efficacy of interventional treatment.
