Effect of Positive Reinforcement Theoretical Nursing Intervention on Perioperative Negative Emotion and Quality of Life in Patients with Upper Limb Fracture
Objective:To explore the effect of positive reinforcement theory nursing intervention on perioperative negative emotions and quality of life in patients with upper limb fracture.Methods:72 patients with upper limb fractures admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to November 2022 were selected as the research objects,of which 36 cases from January 2021 to December 2021 were set as the control group, and 36 cases from January 2022 to November 2022 were set as the observation group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given positive reinforcement theoretical nursing intervention. The changes of negative emotions and quality of life scores of patients were investigated and recorded. Results:The Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)scores of the two groups 10 days after operation were lower than those 1 day before operation, and those of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The the MOS item short from health survey score of the two groups 10 days after operation was higher than that 1 day before operation, and that of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications such as fracture nonunion, joint stiffness, incision infection and upper limb muscle atrophy in the observation group was 2.78%,which was lower than 16.67%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of wrist joint function in the observation group was 97.22%,which was higher than 83.33%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Positive reinforcement theory nursing intervention can effectively alleviate the negative emotions of patients with upper limb fractures, improve their quality of life, reduce the incidence of complications, and promote the recovery of wrist joint function.
