Application of Meniscus Suture Combined with Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction in Knee Joint Sports Trauma
Objective:To explore the application value of meniscus suture combined with anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction in knee joint sports trauma.Methods:80 patients with knee joint sports trauma in our hospital from January 2020 to October 2022 were selected as research objects and divided into study group and control group according to random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The study group underwent meniscus suture combined with anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, and the control group underwent arthroscopic meniscus repair.VAS score,Tegner exercise level score,Lysholm score,KOOS score before and after treatment, positive rate of Lachman test/front drawer test/axis shift test, excellent and good rate of knee function, meniscus healing rate, and total incidence of complications were compared between 2 groups. Results:There were 19 excellent patients and 20 good patients in the study group. The excellent and good rate of knee joint function and meniscus healing rate were significantly higher than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Before treatment, there were no significant differences in VAS score,Tegner exercise level score and Lysholm score between the two groups(P>0.05).After 6 months of treatment,VAS score of the study group was lower than that of the control group, while scores of other indicators were higher than that of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Six months after treatment, the positive rates of Lachman test, front drawer test and axis shift test in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in KOOS score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),but after treatment, the KOOS score of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Meniscus suture combined with anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction is effective in knee sports trauma, which can improve the pain symptoms, movement level and joint function of patients, promote the stability and functional recovery of knee joint, and improve the overall healing effect.
