Effect Analysis of Proximal Anti-Rotation Intramedullary Nail Fixation on Elderly Patients with Intertrochanteric Fracture of Femur
Objective:To investigate the effect of proximal femoral anti-rotation intramedullary nail(PFNA)in elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture(ITF).Methods:A total of 80 elderly ITF patients admitted to Shuyang County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as research objects, and were divided into an experimental group and a control group according to random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The experimental group was treated with PFNA internal fixation and the control group was treated with dynamic hip screw(DHS).Both groups were followed up for 6 months. The postoperative recovery, fracture reduction quality and complications were compared between the two groups. Results:Compared with the control group, the experimental group had lower postoperative drainage, the first weight-bearing time, hospital stay and fracture healing time were shorter, with statistical significances(P<0.05).After treatment, the score of fracture reduction quality in experimental group was higher than that in control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The application of PFNA in elderly patients with ITF can accelerate the postoperative recovery speed, improve the quality of fracture reduction, and has good security.
