Effect Analysis of the Lateral Edge of 12-Gauge Needle under Local Anesthesia in the Treatment of Tenosynovitis of Flexor Tendon Stenosis
Objective:To investigate the effect of lateral edge of 12-gauge needle in the treatment of tenosynovitis of flexor tendon stenosis under local anesthesia. Methods:A total of 100 patients with constricted tenosynovitis of flexor tendon of fingers admitted to the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University from August 2020 to February 2024 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional acupotomy, and the experimental group was treated with the side edge of 12 gauge needle. The clinical efficacy, pain degree and good rate of total motion of finger tendon were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.00%,which was higher than 82.00%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before surgery, there was no significant difference in the pain Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score between the two groups(P>0.05);two weeks after surgery,VAS scores in both groups were lower than before surgery, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of total finger tendon motion in the observation group was 90.00%,which was higher than 68.00%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Under local anesthesia, the lateral edge of the 12-gauge needle can improve the therapeutic effect, relieve pain, and improve the overall motion rate of the finger tendon.
