Observation on the Effect of Warm Acupuncture Combined with Exercise Rehabilitation on Patients with Knee Osteoarthritis Based on Sinew-Bone Balance Theory
Objective:To analyze the effect of warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with exercise rehabilitation on patients with knee osteoarthritis based on the sinew-bone balance theory. Methods:A total of 98 patients with knee joint osteoarthritis admitted to Tai'an City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shandong Province from January to December 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were randomly divided into a control group and a study group according to random number table method, with 49 cases in each group. The control group received conventional rehabilitation treatment, and the study group received warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with exercise rehabilitation treatment based on the sinew-bone balance theory. The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores and pain degree of the two groups were compared. Results:Before treatment, there were no significant differences in visual analogue of pain(VAS)score and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,VAS scores and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Based on the sinew-bone balance theory, warm acupuncture combined with exercise rehabilitation in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis has good therapeutic effect, which can help to reduce the pain degree of patients and improve the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores such as movement limitation, joint stiffness and joint cold pain, and has application value.
