Effect Analysis of Budesonide Combined with Terbutaline in the Treatment of Elderly Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Respiratory Failure
Objective:To analyze the clinical effect of Budesonide combined with Terbutaline in elderly patients with Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)and respiratory failure. Methods:The clinical data of 80 elderly patients with COPD and respiratory failure admitted to Donggang Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning Service Center of Rizhao city from January 2021 to June 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the different treatment plan, they were divided into a control group and a study group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Budesonide and the study group was treated with Terbutaline in basis of the control group. The total effective rate, general vital signs, lung function index and blood gas index were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, the total effective rate of the study group was 95.00%,which was higher than 80.00%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the respiratory rate, heart rate and arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide in the study group were lower than those in the control group, the pulmonary function index and arterial partial pressure of blood oxygen were higher than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:In summary,Budesonide combined with Terbutaline is effective in the treatment of elderly patients with COPD and respiratory failure, reducing respiratory rate and heart rate, improving lung function and effectively controlling blood gas index balance.
