Effectiveness Analysis of Internal Fixation with Interlocking Intramedullary Nailing in the Treatment of Patients with Traumatic Fractures of the Limbs
Objective:To analyze the effectiveness of internal fixation with interlocking intramedullary nailing in the treatment of patients with traumatic fractures of the limbs. Methods:Data of 80 patients'with traumatic fractures of the limbs treated in Tianjin Beicchen Hospital from January 2020 to December 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. They were divided into a control group and a study group according to different treatment methods, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with locking compression plate internal fixation and the study group was treated interlocking intramedullary internal fixation nailing. The therapeutic effect, clinical indexes, pain degree, function of affected limb, activities of daily living and bone metabolism were compared between the two groups. Results:Three months after operation, the total effective rate of the study group was 97.50%,which was higher than 80.00%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The operation time and hospital stay of the study group were shorter than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).On the seventh day after operation, the pain degree of the study group was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Three months after surgery, the functional scores of affected limbs and the scores of daily living activities of the study group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).One month after surgery, the serum levels of alkaline phosphatase, osteoprotectin, osteocalcin and epidermal growth factor in the study group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Internal fixation with interlocking intramedullary nailing in the treatment of patients with traumatic fractures of the limbs can improve the total effective rate of treatment, reduce the time of operation and length of hospital stay, reduce the degree of pain of patients, effectively promote the improvement of the function of affected limbs and bone metabolism, help patients recover the ability of daily living.
