Effect of Multi-Nerve Block Combined with General Anesthesia on Postoperative Pain in Elderly Patients with Ankle Fracture
Objective:To explore the effect of multi-nerve block combined with general anesthesia on postoperative pain in elderly patients with ankle fracture. Methods:A total of 96 elderly patients with ankle fracture admitted to Tianjin Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into a study group and a control group by random number table method, with 48 cases in each group.General anesthesia was performed in both groups.Femoral nerve+sciatic nerve block was used in the control group, and obturator nerve+lateral femoral cutaneous nerve block was used in the study group on the basis of the control group.Operation related indexes, physiological indexes, postoperative pain and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The operation time and nerve block operation time of the study group were longer than those of the control group, and the postoperative recovery time and extubation time were shorter than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Intraoperative 30 min,1 h,postoperative 10 min,the mean arterial pressure and heart rate of the study group were lower than those of the control group the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 12 and 24 h after surgery, the pain Visual Analogue Scale scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 12.50%,which was higher than 8.33%in the control group, but there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The application of multi-nerve block in elderly patients undergoing ankle fracture surgery can effectively reduce the degree of postoperative pain, accelerate recovery, have less physiological impact on patients and have good safety.
