Objective:To analyze the effect of internal heat acupuncture combined with Etocoxime in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(KOA).Methods:A total of 60 patients with KOA admitted to Jinan Jiyang District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected and divided into control group and study group with 30 cases in each group according to random number table method.The control group was treated with Etocoxib,the study group was treated with internal heat acupuncture therapy on this basis.The total effective rate,pain degree,knee function,inflammation index,quality of life and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 93.33%,which was higher than 73.33%in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the pain number score,C-reactive protein and tumor necrosis fact-α levels of the study group were lower than those of the control group,Lysholm knee score and quality of life comprehensive assessment questionnaire scores were higher than those of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).During treatment,there was no adverse reactions occurred in both groups.Conclusion:Internal heat acupuncture combined with Etocoxib can relieve pain in patients with KOA,restore knee joint function,help to dissipate inflammation,improve patients'quality of life with high safety.
