Application Value of Predictive Nursing in Prevention of Deep Vein Thrombosis in Elderly Patients with Hip Fracture
Objective:To retrospectively analyze the value of predictive nursing in preventing deep vein thrombosis(DVT)in elderly patients with hip fracture. Methods:Data of 70 elderly patients with hip fracture in Tianjin Hospital from August 2022 to August 2023 were analyzed retrospectively, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to differen nursing methods, with 35 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received predictive nursing based on the control group.Clinical indicators, incidence of DVT,nursing satisfaction, pain degree,DVT symptam score and mental state score were compared between the two groups. Results:Compared with the control group, the fracture healing time and hospital stay in the observation group were lower, with statistical significance(P<0.05).After nursing, the pain Visual Analogue Scales and DVT symptom scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of DVT in the observation group was 2.86%,which was lower than 17.14%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing, mental state scores of both groups were lower than before nusing, and the observation group were lower than the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Nursing satisfaction in the observation group was 97.15%,which was higher than 77.14%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Predictive nursing can effectively prevent the occurrence of DVT in elderly patients with hip fracture, promote the recovery of patients, reduce postoperative pain, effectively relieve the negative emotions of patients, and shorten the length of hospital stay of patients.
