Objective:To explore the effect of multidisciplinary teamwork(MDT)nursing on postoperative rehabilitation of elderly patients with cataract.Methods:A total of 118 elderly cataract patients admitted to Lufeng People's Hospital from January 2022 to January 2024 were selected as the study object.They were divided into a control group and an observation group by random number table method,with 59 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine nursing intervention,the observation group was treated with MDT nursing intervention.The psychological status,visual rehabilitation,complications,comfort level,quality of life and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results:After nursing,the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing,the visual acuity of both groups was higher than before nursing,the visual acuity of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 3.39%,which was lower than 15.25%in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing,the scores of Comfort Condition Scale and the MOS Item Short Form Health Survey and patient satisfaction in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:MDT nursing can improve the adverse mood of elderly cataract patients,quickly restore vision,reduce the incidence of postoperative complications,enhance patient comfort and improve their quality of life,increase nursing satisfaction.
