Effect Analysis of Budesonide Nasol Spray Combined with Nasal Endoscopic Surgery in the Treatment of Patients with Nasal Polyps
Objective:To study the effect analysis of Budesonide Nasol Spray combined with nasal endoscopic surgery in the treatment of patients with nasal polyps.Methods:Data of 100 patients with nasal polyps treated in Lanshan District People's Hospital of Rizhao City from February 2020 to February 2023 were retrospectively selected as the study objects.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into a combined treatment group and a single treatment group,with 50 cases each group.The single treatment group was treated with nasal endoscopic surgery,and the combined treatment group was treated with Budesonide Nasol Spray on the basis of the single treatment group.The pain condition,nasal and sinus function,nasal endoscopic imaging improvement,quality of life,laboratory inflammatory indexes,therapeutic effect,the occurrence of postoperation complications and recurrence were compared between the two groups.Results:The treatment excellent and good rate of the combined treatment group was 96.00%,which was higher than 84.00%of the single treatment group,the recurrence rate was 6.00%,which was lower than 20.00%of the single treatment group,the complication rate was 6.00%,which was lower than 28.00%of the single treatment group,with statistical significances(P<0.05).After treatment,the nasal eosinophil count,eosinophil cationic protein,hypersensitive C-reactive protein,total immunoglobulin,interleukin(IL)-4,IL-5 and IL-17 in the combined treatment group were lower than those in the single treatment group,and the matrix metalloproteinase-9 was higher than that in the single treatment group,with statistical significances(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores in the Sinus and Nasal Outcome Test-20 scale,Lund-Kennedy score system and pain Visual Analogu Scale of the combined treatment group were lower than those of the single treatment group,the score of Generic Quality of Life Inventory-74 was higher than that of the single treatment group,with statistical significances(P<0.05).Conclusion:Budesonide Nasol Spray combined with nasal endoscopic surgery has a good effect in the treatment of patients with nasal polyps,which can improve perioperative indicators and nasal endoscopic imaging effects,reduce pain,inhibit inflammation indicators,improve patients'quality of life,and reduce the incidence of complications and recurrence.
