Effect of Doxycycline Combined with Metronidazole Intrauterine Infusion in the Treatment of Patients with Chronic Endometritis
Objective:To explore the effect of Doxycycline combined with Metronidazole intrauterine infusion in the treatment on patients with chronic endometritis. Methods:A total of 108 patients with chronic endometritis treated in Linyi Central Hospital from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected as research objects, and were divided into a control group and a study group according to random number table method, with 54 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Doxycycline, and the study group was treated with Metronidazole intrauterine infusion on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, serum inflammatory factors,CD138 negative conversion, pregnancy status and occurrence of adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 94.44%higher than 79.63%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of serum inflammatory factors in both groups were decreased than before treatment, and the study group was lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the natural pregnancy rate within 6 months in the study group was 62.96%,higher than 38.89%in the control group, the CD138 negative conversion rate was 48.19%,higher than 27.78%in the control group, with statistical significances(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Doxycycline combined with Metronidazole have a definite effect in the treatment of patients with chronic endometritis, which can significantly improve the inflammatory state of the body, reduce the level of serum inflammatory factors, and increase the natural pregnancy rate within 6 months, with good safety.
