Application Analysis of Transabdominal Preperitoneal Prosthesis and Lichtenstein Flat Plate Hernia Repair in the Treatment of Inguinal Hernia Patients
Objective:To compare the application effects of transabdominal preperitoneal prosthesis(TAPP)and Lichtenstein flat plate hernia repair in the treatment of inguinal hernia patients. Methods:A total of 102 patients with inguinal hernia admitted to Xintai People's Hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into a control group and a study group according to the random number table, with 51 cases in each group. The control group underwent Lichtenstein flat plate hernia repair treatment, the study group underwent TAPP treatment. The clinical indexes, pain, complications occurrence and recurrence occurrence were compared between the two groups. Results:The intraoperative blood loss in the study group was lower than that in the control group, the first anal exhaust time, the first time to get out of bed and the total length of hospital stay were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in operation time between the study group and the control group(P>0.05).At the 1st,3rd and 7th day after surgery, the pain scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group was 3.92%,which was lower than 17.65%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).One year after surgery, the recurrence rate of the study group was 0.00%,which was lower than 3.92%of the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:There is no difference in the recurrence rate of inguinal hernia patients treated by Lichtenstein flat plate hernia repair and TAPP.However, compared with Lichtenstein flat plate hernia repair,TAPP has the advantages of less intraoperative blood loss, faster recovery and lower risk of complications, which can effectively relieve postoperative pain in patients.
