Effect of Acupuncture Plus Specific Electromagnetic Wave Combined with Gutongling Tincture in the Treatment of Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation and Pain Relief
Objective:To explore the effect of acupuncture plus specific electromagnetic wave combined with Gutongling Tincture in the treatment of patients with lumbar disc herniation and pain relief.Methods:A total of 62 patients with lumbar disc herniation from January to November 2023 admitted to Bijie Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into a control group(n=30)and a study group(n=32)by random double-blind method.The control group was treated with ordinary acupuncture plus specific electromagnetic wave,and the study group was treated with Gutongling Tincture on the basis of the control group.Lumbar dysfunction,pain degree and total effective rate were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the the scores of Oswestry Disability Index in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was 96.88%,which was higher than 83.33%of the control group,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture plus specific electromagnetic wave combined with Gutongling Tincture has a remarkable effect on patients with lumbar disc herniation.It can not only improve their lumbar function,but also alleviate their lumbar pain.
