Effect of Buccal Acupuncture on Chronic Nonspecific Low Back Pain and Its Influence on Pain Degree
Objective:To observe the effect of buccal acupuncture on chronic nonspecific low back pain(CNLBP)and its influence on the degree of pain. Methods:A total of 170 CNLBP patients treated in the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Rizhao People's Hospital from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into a buccal acupuncture group(n=57),a conventional acupuncture group(n=55)and a western medicine control group(n=58).The western medicine control group was treated with Celecoxib Capsules orally, the buccal acupuncture group was treated with buccal acupuncture, and the conventional acupuncture group was treated with conventional acupuncture. The pain degree and treatment effect of the two groups were compared. Results:After treatment, the scores of Pain Rating Index, pain Visual Analogue Scale,Present Pain Intensity and total score in the simplified McGill scale of the buccal acupuncture group were lower than those of the conventional acupuncture group and the western medicine control group, with statistical significances(P<0.05).The total effective rate of buccal acupuncture group was 98.25%,which was higher than 85.45%in conventional acupuncture group and 82.76%in western medicine control group, the differences were statistically significants(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 7.27%in the traditional acupuncture group, the incidence of adverse reactions was 3.45%in the western medicine control group, and no adverse reactions occurred in the cheek acupuncture group, there was no statistical significance in the incidence of adverse reactions among the three groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Buccal acupuncture is effective in the treatment of CNLBP,can improve the pain symptoms of patients, improve clinical efficacy, and the security is good.
