Comparison of the Efficacy of Bipolar Artificial Femoral Head Replacement and Total Hip Replacement in the Treatment of Patients with Elderly Femoral Neck Fractures
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of bipolar femoral head replacement and total hip replacement in the treatment of elderly patients with femoral neck fracture.Methods:A total of 80 elderly patients with femoral neck fracture admitted to 731 Hospital of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation from January 2019 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects,and were divided into a control group and a study group according to random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with bipolar artificial femoral head replacement,and the study group was treated with total hip replacement.Postoperative pain scores,hip function recovery,complications and quality of life scores were compared between the two groups.Results:At 1 day,1 week,1,3 and 6 months after operation,the visual analog scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).At 1 week,1,3 and 6 months after surgery,the Harris Hip Scale Score of the study group was higher than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After operation,the complication rate of the study group was lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).At 1,3 and 6 months after operation,the SF-36 Quality of Life Scale score of the study group was higher than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with bipolar artificial femoral head replacement,total hip replacement can reduce the pain degree,promote the recovery of hip function,reduce complications and improve the quality of life in elderly patients with femoral neck fracture.
