Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of open reduction microplate internal fixation in patients with traumatic fractures around the metacarpophalangeal joint.Methods:The clinical data of 80 patients with traumatic fractures around the metacarpophalangeal joint admitted to Chengde Orthopaedic Hospital in Shanting from March 2021 to June 2023 were retrospectively analyzed,the patients were divided into a control group and a study group according to different surgical protocols,with 40 cases in each group.Traditional surgical methods were used in the control group,and internal fixation with open reduction microplate was used in the study group.The operative effect,complications,operative indexes and bone metabolism indexes were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 97.50%,higher than that of the control group 80.00%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the study group was 2.50%,which was lower than 20.00%in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The fracture healing time,operation time and joint free movement time of the study group were shorter than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of nuclear factor κB receptor activator in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the levels of bone metabolism-related factors,bone protective factors and osteocalcin were higher than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of open reduction microplate internal fixation in the patients with traumatic fractures around the metacarpophalangeal joint can significantly improve the surgical treatment effect,reduce the incidence rate,shorten the treatment and rehabilitation time of patients,and improve the level of bone metabolism.Conclusion:The application of open reduction microplate internal fixation in patients with traumatic fractures around the metacarpophalangeal joint can significantly improve the surgical effect and safety of patients,and improve the series of clinical indicators of patients.
