Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of proximal femoral nail antirotation(PFNA)internal fixation in the treatment of patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur. Methods:A total of 60 patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur admitted to Sihong County Fenjinting Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were randomly divided into a control group and a study group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group underwent proximal femoral locking plate internal fixation, and the study group underwent PFNA internal fixation. The perioperative indexes, hip function and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results:The operation time, postoperative bed time and healing time of the study group were shorter than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of Harris hip scale in the study group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the study group was 3.33%,lower than 26.67%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur received PFNA internal fixation effect is ideal, can effectively improve hip function, promote fracture healing, reduce complications, has a high application value.
