Observation on the Effect of Warm Acupuncture and Moxibustion Combined with Massage Tendon Regulating Manipulation in the Treatment of Patients with Cold Dampness Obstruction Type Lumbago
Objective:To investigate the effect of warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with massage tendon regulating manipulation on patients with cold dampness obstruction type lumbago.Methods:A total of 86 patients with cold dampness obstruction type lumbago admitted to Jimo District Qingdao Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2022 to April 2024 were selected as the research objects,and were divided into a study group and a control group by random number method,with 43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with massage tendon regulating manipulation,and the study group was treated with warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with massage tendon regulating manipulation.Both groups were treated for 2 weeks.The clinical efficacy,low back pain score,lumbar function,lumbar motion,hemorheology index levels and serum inflammatory factor levels were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 93.02%,higher than 76.74%of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of pain visual analogue scale and lumbar Oswestry disability index of the study group were lower than those of the control group,while the Japanese Orthopaedic Association lumbar disorders rating scale score was higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the activity of lumbar flexion,backward extension,left flexion and right flexion in the study group were greater than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the whole blood high shear viscosity,whole blood low shear viscosity and plasma viscosity of the study group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-6 and prostaglandin E2 in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with massage tendon regulating manipulation has a good effect on the treatment of cold dampness obstruction type lumbago,which can significantly improve the patients'low back motion,reduce dysfunction and relieve the symptoms of low back pain.The mechanism of action may be related to reducing inflammation and improving hemorheology indexes.
