Objective:To investigate the effect of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome differentiation nursing on pain degree and functional recovery in patients with lumbar disc herniation.Methods:A total of 80 patients with lumbar disc herniation admitted to Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January to September 2023 were selected as the research objects,and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine nursing,and the observation group was treated with TCM syndrome differentiation nursing based on the control group.Both groups were carod for two weeks.The pain,lumbar function recovery,motor function,quality of life and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results:After nursing,the pain visual analogue scale score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the Japanese Orthopaedic Association lumbar spine function score,the Fugl-Meyer assessment scores and physical pain,physical function,mental health,and general health status scores in the health survey summary table were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 95.00%,which was higher than 75.00%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of patients with lumbar disc herniation with TCM syndrome differentiation nursing has a remarkable effect,which can promote the improvement of lumbar function,relieve pain,improve limb movement ability,improve life quality,and patients have a high satisfaction with nursing services.
