Effect of PFBN and PFNA on Perioperative Indexes and Joint Function in Elderly Patients with Intertrochanteric Fracture of Femur
Objective:To investigate the effect of proximal femur bionic nail(PFBN)and proximal femoral nail antirotation(PFNA)fixation in elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture Femur(IFF).Methods:A total of 80 elderly patients with IFF treated in Yanzhou District People's Hospital of Jining City from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into a control group and a study group with 40 cases in each group according to random number table method. The control group underwent PFNA internal fixation, and the study group underwent PFBN internal fixation. Both groups were followed up for 6 months.Perioperative indexes, hip function, daily living ability, lower limb mobility and complications were compared between the two groups. Results:The operation time of the study group was longer than that of the control group, the intraoperative fluoroscopy times were more than that of the control group, and the first walking time was shorter than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After surgery, all dlmensions of the Harris hip score, the Barthel scale and the Fugl-Meyer motor function score of lower limbs in the study group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After surgery, the scores of all dimensions of the WHO Simple Living Scale in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group was 5.00%,compared with 10.00%in the control group, with no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compared with PFBN internal fixation,PFBN internal fixation in the treatment of elderly IFF patients results in a shorter walking time, which is conducive to the recovery of hip function, the improvement of daily living ability and lower limb mobility, but the operation time is longer and the intraoperative fluoroscopy times are more.
