Objective:To observe the preventive effect of early use of Low-Molecular-Weight Heparin(LMWH)on venous thromboembolism(VTE)in patients with severe craniocerebral injury. Methods:The data of 80 patients with severe craniocerebral injury admitted to Zhejiang People's Hospital from February 2019 to February 2024 were retrospectively analyzed and were divided into an early group and a late group according to different LMWH treatment times, with 40 cases in each group.LMWH was activated in the early group after admission<48 h,and LMWH was activated in the late group after admission≥48 h and<7 d.The coagulation function, the occurrence of VTE and other complications were compared between the two groups. Results:After 1,3 and 7 days of treatment, the levels of D-dimer and fibrinogen in the two groups were lower than before treatment, and the levels in the early group were lower than those in the late group at the same point, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of VTE in the early group was 5.00%,which was lower than 20.00%in the late group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the early group was 5.00%,which was lower than 12.50%in the late group, but there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Early use of LMWH can effectively improve the level of coagulation function indicators in patients with severe craniocerebral injury, and significantly reduce the incidence of VTE,which is of great significance for improving the prognosis.
