Study on the Effect of Taohong Siwu Decoction Combined with Wuling Powder on Patients with Tibial and Fibula Fractures after Internal Fixation
Objective:To investigate the effect of Taohong Siwu Decoction combined with Wuling Powder on internal fixation of tibial and fibula fracture.Methods:A total of 84 patients with tibia and fibula fracture after internal fixation in Heze Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2021 to March 2024 were selected and divided into a study group and a control group according to random number table method,with 42 cases in each group.All patients were treated with internal fixation surgery,the control group was treated with mannitol combined with sodium escin after surgery,and the study group was treated with Taohong Siwu Decoction combined with Wuling Powder after surgery.Both groups were treated for 10 days.The symptom remission time,body inflammation,bone metabolism indexes and postoperative complications of the two groups were compared.Results:The swelling and pain relief time of the affected limb in the study group were shorter than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-5,interleukin-10 and C-reactive protein in the study group were lower than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of alkaline phosphatase,osteocalcin,blood phosphorus and blood calcium in the study group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the study group was 4.76%,lower than 19.05%in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Taohong Siwu Decoction combined with Wuling Powder can shorten the time of relief of swelling and pain symptoms,reduce inflammation,improve bone metabolism index and reduce postoperative complications in patients with tibialibula fracture after internal fixation.
