Effect Analysis of Buyang Huanwu Decoction Plus Minus Formula Combined with Tongdu Tiaoshen Acupuncture Therapy on Stroke Patients with Hemiplegia
Objective:To investigate the curative effect of Buyang Huanwu Decoction plus minus formula combined with Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture on stroke patients with hemiplegia and its influence on the recovery of nerve and motor function.Methods:A total of 96 stroke patients with hemiplegia admitted to Jiaozhou Hospital of Dongfang Hospital Affiliated to Tongji University from September 2020 to September 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into a control group and a study group according to random number table method,with 48 cases in each group.The control group received conventional treatment,the study group was treated with Buyang Huanwu Decoction plus minus formula combined with Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture therapy on this basis.Both groups were treated continuously for 8 weeks.TCM syndrome score,nerve function,limb motor ability and daily living ability were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the TCM scores of speech depression,hypoesthesia,hemiplegia and mouth and eye skew in two groups were lower than before treatment,the study group were lower than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale scores in both groups were lower than before treatment,the study group was lower than the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of upper and lower limbs in Fugl-Meyer Motor Function Rating Scale and Barthel Index in two groups were higher than before treatment,and the study group were higher than the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Buyang Huanwu Decoction plus minus formula combined with Tongdu Tiaoshen acupuncture therapy can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of stroke patients with hemiplegia,promote the recovery of nerve function,and improve the motor function of limbs and the ability of daily life.
