Diagnostic Value of Multi-Slice Spiral CT Combined with MRI in the Classification of Ankle Fracture Patients
Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT(MSCT)combined with MRI in the classification of ankle fractures. Methods:A total of 90 patients with suspected ankle fracture admitted to Heyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects. All patients underwent surgical treatment, and MSCT and MRI examinations were improved before surgery, and intraoperative results were used as the gold standard. The positive detection rate, diagnostic efficacy and diagnostic accuracy of ankle fracture classification were compared between MSCT,MRI and combined detection, and the prognostic evaluation of MSCT and MRI for ankle fracture classification was analyzed. Results:Among the 90 patients,73 were diagnosed with ankle fracture by gold standard. The positive rates of MSCT,MRI and combined detection were 67.78%,72.22%and 76.67%,respectively.The sensitivity of MSCT,MRI and combined detection was 80.82%,84.93%and 90.41%,Kappa was 0.543,0.570 and 0.667,and the Yoden index was 0.691,0.673 and 0.728,respectively.The diagnostic accuracy of MSCT,MRI and combined detection for ankle fracture classification was 73.97%,82.19%and 91.78%,respectively,with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between MSCT and MRI in the prognosis of PAB,PER and SAB of ankle fracture types(P>0.05).The anatomical reduction rate of SER by MRI was 97.37%,higher than 78.95%by MSCT,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:MSCT combined with MRI can improve the detection rate of ankle fracture and help to distinguish the fracture types, and has certain clinical value for the prognosis assessment of patients.
