Effect of Phased Rehabilitation Training Combined with Progressive Relaxation Training Under the Concept of Co-Treatment on Rehabilitation of Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation after Surgery
Objective:To explore the effect of phased rehabilitation training combined with progressive relaxation training under the concept of co-treatment on rehabilitation of patients with lumbar disc herniation(LDH)after surgery. Methods:A total of 80 postoperative patients with LDH admitted to Chifeng Hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine rehabilitation nursing intervention, and the observation group received phased rehabilitation training combined with progressive relaxation training under the concept of co-treatment.Both groups continued the intervention for 8 weeks. The rehabilitation compliance, pain degree, muscle endurance, lumbar function and complications were compared between the two groups. Results:After intervention, the compliance scores of exercise effect supervision, active advice seeking and physical participation in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the lower back pain visual analogue scale(VAS)score and leg pain VAS score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the abdominal muscle endurance and back muscle endurance scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the Japanese Orthopaedic Association lumbar function score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the Oswestry disability index score was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.00%,which was lower than 20.00%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Phased rehabilitation training combined with progressive relaxation training under the concept of co-treatment can improve the compliance of rehabilitation exercise in patients with LDH after surgery, reduce back and leg pain, enhance muscle endurance, improve lumbar function, reduce complications, and have clinical application value.
