Analysis of Perioperative Indicators and the Impact on Anal Function and Quality of Life in Patients with Rectal Prolapse Treated with Modified Delorme Operation
Objective:To analyze the effect of modified Delorme operation in the treatment of patients with rectal prolapse. Methods:A total of 50 patients with rectal prolapse admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Karamay City from January 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into a control group and a study group according to random number table method, with 25 cases in each group. The control group underwent laparoscopic rectal suspension fixation, and the study group underwent modified Delorme operation.Perioperative indexes, anal function, quality of life and complications were compared between the two groups.Result:The intraoperative blood loss of the study group was(124.36±12.46)mL,which was lower than that of the control group(150.48±18.77)mL.The operation time was(121.79±13.21)min,and the hospital stay was(13.41±2.20)d,which was shorter than(150.83±17.59)min and(18.77±2.63)d in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Three months after surgery, the rectal sensory volume of the study group was(30.22±2.80)mL,which was lower than that of the control group(39.86±3.21)mL,the maximum resting pressure was(64.28±7.35)mmHg,the maximum systolic pressure was(95.87±6.33)mmHg,which was higher than(55.48±5.21)mmHg and(87.83±5.69)mmHg in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Three months after surgery, the scores of material life status, physical function, psychological function and social function in the Generic Quality of Life Inventory-74 were(79.95±4.88)points,(79.85±5.20)points,(80.44±5.36)points and(81.69±4.54)points respectively, which was higher than(68.94±4.16)points,(71.25±4.18)points,(70.58±4.21)points,(72.48±3.67)points in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group was 8.00%,which was lower than 20.00%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified Delorme operation has the advantages of few blood loss and short operation time, which can improve the anal function of patients with rectal prolapse, reduce the incidence of complications, shorten the length of hospital stay of patients, and then improve their quality of life, and has certain application value.
