Application Value Analysis of MRI Combined with MSCT in Diagnosis of Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation
Objective:To analyze the value of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)combined with multi-slice spiral CT(MSCT)in the diagnosis of patients with lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Methods:A total of 70 patients with suspected LDH admitted to Qidong People's Hospital from June 2022 to June 2024 were selected as the study objects. The clinical diagnosis results were used as the gold standard, the application value of MRI combined with MSCT in the diagnosis of LDH was analyzed. Results:The detection rates of disc deformation, nerve root compression and dural sac compression in MRI for LDH signs were 81.43%,61.43%and 64.29%,respectively,which were higher than 54.29%,34.29%and 47.14%in MSCT,and the detection rates of intervertebral disc gas and calcification were 41.43%and 17.14%,respectively,which were lower than 74.29%and 47.14%in MSCT,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The sensitivity and accuracy of MRI and MSCT combined diagnosis of LDH were 100.00%and 98.57%,respectively,which were higher than 85.71%and 87.14%in MRI alone diagnosis and 87.76%and 90.00%in MSCT alone diagnosis, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application value of MRI combined with MSCT in the diagnosis of LDH is significant, which can improve the sensitivity and accuracy of diagnosis and provide more comprehensive pathological information for clinic, which is superior to MRI or MSCT alone, and has important clinical significance.
