Analysis Clinical Value of Ultrasound Elastography in the Diagnosis of Nodule Properties in Patients with Thyroid Nodules
Objective:To investigate the clinical value of ultrasonic elastography in the diagnosis of nodule properties in patients with thyroid nodules. Methods:The clinical data of 137 patients with thyroid nodules who underwent thyroid ultrasonography in Jinxiang County People's Hospital from March 2023 to March 2024 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent routine ultrasound, surgical pathologic diagnosis, and ultrasound elastography. Results:Pathologic diagnosis showed that 143 benign thyroid nodules and 32 malignant thyroid nodules were found in 137 patients who underwent thyroid ultrasonography.Compared with benign thyroid nodules, malignant thyroid nodules had higher elastic imaging evaluation grade, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Ultrasound elastography showed 140 benign nodules and 35 malignant nodules.Routine ultrasonography showed 124 benign nodules and 51 malignant nodules. There was no significant difference in diagnostic sensitivity between ultrasound elastography and conventional ultrasound(P>0.05).The diagnostic specificity and accuracy of ultrasonic elastography were higher than those of conventional ultrasound, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Ultrasound elastography can show the relative hardness of thyroid nodules, which is helpful to distinguish the nature of thyroid nodules to a certain extent, and its diagnostic efficiency is better than that of conventional ultrasound, which can provide reference for clinical diagnosis.
