Effects of Cooperative Learning on English Writing of Non-English Majors in Vocational Colleges
Two intact classes that demonstrated no significant differences in holistic English proficiency or English writing proficiency were recruited as the experimental group and the control group.Through practical English writing,the research aimed to investigate the effects of cooperative learning on English writing of non-English majors in vocational colleges.The results indicated that cooperative learning could significantly improve the subjects'writing proficiency,and decrease their English writing anxiety.In the process of cooperative writ-ing,the subjects employed such strategies as identifying the writing structure,correcting lexical and grammati-cal errors,and improving the logicality of the expressions.
