Study on the Thermodynamic Process of Lithium Recovery by Chemical Precipitation of Degraded Ternary Cathode
The reuse of lithium resources in decommissioned ternary cathode material Li-ion battery is one of the important ways to reduce environmental pollution and solve the shortage of lithium resources.Starting from the process of lithium recovery by chemical precipitation in the wet treatment process of decommissioning ternary anode material Li-ion battery, the thermodynamics of lithium recovery by different precipitation of LiCl,Li2SO4 and LiNO3 systems were studied. The results show that sodium phosphate has a suitable precipita-tion effect for the three systems from the perspective of thermodynamics. When fluoride is used as precipitating agent, fluorine salt is better than hydrofluoric acid for precipitating reaction.Compared with other precipitating agents, the effect of sodium carbonate on lithium deposition in Li2 SO4 system is the worst.
