Study on dispersion simulation of air pollutants from ships in inland waterways
In order to investigate the diffusion pattern around the buildings nearby the river of air pollutants from ships in inland waterways,a numerical model of air pollutant emissions from ships in a waterway section in Nanjing was constructed, which based on the data from the automatic ship identification system. And the discharge amount of SO2,NO2,PM10,PM2.5,CO,and volatile organic compound(VOC)from the ships was got by using the"bottom-up"method.The diffusion model of air pollutants from ships around the residential area along the river was established by Revit software and Fluent software, and visual simulation analysis was carried out.The results show that the pollutant diffusion is closely related to the layout of the building group under the condition of annual average wind speed in the normal wind direction. The negative pressure zones appear on the leeward side of the dense building group, with lower pollutant concentration.Airflow vortex regions appear a little far away from the leeward side of the whole building group, which leads to a higher pollutant concentration with a continuous pollution impact in a certain term. The research ideas and results can provide a theoretical basis for the planning and construction of residential areas along the waterway.
