Research on application of Kriging interpolation method for inland waterway topography
Aiming at the problem that the discrete measured data of river bed in inland waterway is difficult to adapt to the accuracy of hydrodynamic simulation, the application of Kriging interpolation method in the construction of high-precision topography of inland waterway has been carried out.Taking a tributary channel of Chaohu Lake as an example, the Kriging method was used to interpolate the underwater terrain of the straight section and the strong curved section respectively.Based on the analysis of the spatial variation trend of underwater topography, different theoretical variogram models were selected, and the anisotropic characteristics of the models were considered to compare and analyze the results of river bed topography interpolation. The results show that the detrending method and the anisotropy model can significantly improve the local discontinuity in the interpolation results, while the accuracy and continuity of the Kriging interpolation results still need to be further improved. The research results can provide a reference for advancing the application of Kriging interpolation technology in the future.
