Design and implementation of automatic calibration system for vibrating wire earth pressure gauge
With the development of smart ports and smart waterways, the automation of monitoring sensors has become a future trend. This paper analyzes the composition and working principle of monitoring sensors, specifically the vibrating wire soil pressure gauge,as well as the calibration requirements and challenges.A set of automated calibration system is designed and developed accordingly. The system employs an industrial computer as the control core, with an automatic pressurization system and a frequency acquisition instrument as standard devices.Through the control system, the system can automatically apply pressure and measure the output frequency modulus of the tested equipment, achieving objectives such as setting and outputting pressure standard values, automatically recording and storing frequency measurement values, processing and computing data, managing historical data, and generating calibration reports.Experimental results demonstrate that all procedures and indicators of the system meet the calibration requirements of vibrating wire soil pressure gauges, making it suitable for relevant metrological calibration work.
