Comparison and application analysis of Three Gorges-Gezhou Dam navigable discharge standard during flood season
The navigational conditions of channel between the Three Gorges-Gezhouba dam is complex and the location of the water area has special significance, the navigation management department has successively formulated the trial operation plan of the"Navigation flow standards for the navigation channel between the Three Gorges and Gezhouba dams during the flood season"(hereinafter referred to as"Standard16")and the"Navigable discharge standard of the waterway between the Three Gorges Dam and the Gezhouba Dam during flood season"(hereinafter referred to as"Standard 20").To comprehensively grasp the implementation and application of"Standard 20"and assessment its effect scientifically, the standard comparison analysis, navigation vessels on the beach capacity calculation and navigation efficiency analysis were evaluated separately. The vessels that were limited to navigation under"Standard 16"but can navigate under"Standard 20"at different flow levels were selected randomly, the navigation safety verification was carried out;a simulation platform was built, the number of navigable vessels and the weight of cargo were calculated under the simulated flood water conditions and different standards, the navigable efficiency analysis between the two dams was realized. The results indicate that:compared with the"Standard 16",the"Standard 20"optimize the division of flow level and control factors of standard, the number of navigable vessels and the cargo throughput in general can be further improved, and the increased number of vessels can navigate normally.Under the simulation environment between the two dams, the number of navigable vessels and the cargo throughput were increased by 14.8%and 11.6%,respectively.Thus,the implementation of the"Standard 20"helps to improve the overall traffic capacity of the waterway between the Three Gorges Dam and the Gezhouba Dam.
